Happy Monday everyone!

 

Mom was in much better mood yesterday.  For breakfast ate coffee cake and a little coffee.  For lunch, she ate practically everything, she ate the stuffing out of the stuffed chicken but didn't want the chicken but ate all the stuffing and all the mashed potatoes, the cranberry jello salad, and drank a little coffee. For dinner, she ate all the fettuccini and the soft pieces of chicken I could smash up.  The broccoli was to hard for her to chew.  She ate the angel food cake and had a little coffee and immediately went to sleep after eating. Guess the pill to increase her appetite is kicking in. 

 

Jack and Wilma were there twice yesterday, as they do everyday, and Ada came also after church.  Our neighbor Rosemary Toryak came to visit her and brought her a bottle of lavendar body lotion and lavendar spray which I used on her.  Hey, maybe that is what made her so sleepy after dinner. I can only hope.  There was no physical therapy on the weekend so today we will begin again.  She knew me some of yesterday and loves to watch out her window at the cars on I 79.  Also is a real fan of Fox News channel because she reads me the crawl on the bottom to keep me updated on news.  She can read but does not understand what she is reading but it has been that way for a long time now.  The team assigned to her yesterday were so good to her and gave her lots of attention.

 

Well, it is Monday!  Onward and upward!!  Thanks for all the phone calls, texts and especially the prayers.  vada
